Oak Crest exemplifies the very best in customer service. We believe in providing options and encouraging personal choice.

The caring programs that are offered represent the utmost in dignity, creativity and integrity.

Our philosophy is simple: treat each person as you would your own parent or grandparent: caring for the individuals needs and respecting their preferences.

With this goal in mind we acknowledge that choosing a new home can be a very complicated and difficult decision.

Stability is the single descriptive that exemplifies the Oak Crest Staff. From the top down the administration is an exception to the industries vastly revolving turnover. Our Executive Director, Susan Cincinelli has served the organization for the past thirty-seven years. This unprecedented tenure has had a very stabilizing influence to the organization and staff. When asked about the milestone Cincinelli always says the same thing, “It is just one day at a time”. Instituting many innovations that affect the service provided and the atmosphere of the organization she sites the celebration quarterly for staff anniversaries, building the team that takes pride in their work and contribution to the organization.

That same one day at a time slogan has rung true for many of the oak Crest staff who have celebrated employment anniversaries numbering 20, 25 and 30 years in addition to Cincinelli who leads in years. Advancing the organization, the goals and mission have taken the form of growth for the services and individuals who work with Cincinelli.

Marlene Pokorny Administrator of Business Services and director of Hope Cottage Memory Center is next in line with 30 years on the job. Marlene has made her mark at Oak Crest by graciously juggling three roles: as Administrator of Business Services she is responsible for the financial accounting of the organization and interfacing with clients about the monetary aspect of their relationship with Oak Crest; as director of Hope Cottage Memory Center, Marlene is a certified Alzheimer’s Support group leader and leads the networking and programming for our cutting edge memory center; finally Marlene is a Eucharistic Minister and serves as the Spiritual leader of the organization providing networking for the community churches and services for members. Marlene wears many hats well, looking for the best in everyone and usually finding it.

Margaret Walter Administrator of Resident Services has also achieved an outstanding tenure of 28 years at Oak Crest. Job responsibilities are as varied as her title suggest but include succinctly the wellbeing of all members and staff. Operationally Margaret is the go to person reporting directly to the Executive Director. Never daunted and always available Margaret gets the calls at night and makes the decisions that keep Oak Crest staffed and ready for anything twenty-four seven.

Each member of our staff is trained to take responsibility and watch for the safety and welfare of our members. Customer Service training is paramount and amounts to a requirement for all. We believe that our people make the difference and we want them and you to know that fact.
