Exercise your mind, heart and body

Our bus takes members to the Centre in Elgin where they walk the track, this is called the "Walk Club". Much more takes place than walking, which by the way is one of the best fitness exercises for adults over 65. 

The ride in the bus can lead to a group song or a decision for the next lunch outing, never dull always fun. The idea of being involved and part of a group is a vital exercise for everyone, those who are older always run the risk of feeling isolated. That can be deadly, causing emotional suffering and leading to physical pain and distress. The cure: Starting with kindness and consideration, ask an older friend to lunch or give them a call. Start the connection process with a short walk and you have exercised you mind, heart and body. Oh, don't forget to hydrate particularly in the hot summer weather drink lots of water.
